Counseling services can help with a variety of emotional, behavioral, social, and relational issues both acute and chronic. Counseling is individualized and focused on the client's specific needs.

What is Online Counseling/Technology Assisted Counseling?
Using the phone and internet technology, clients are able to have counseling sessions in the privacy of their own home. This service will meet the needs of those who have difficulty finding a qualified therapist in their area and are comfortable with counseling in this manner.
Is Online Counseling/Technology Assisted Counseling the right choice for me?
This service is offered for ages 12 and up, and due to licensing restrictions, the client must reside in the state of Arkansas. In addition, this service may not be appropriate for client's who have a high risk of self harming behavior, recent history of suicidal or homicidal thoughts, or recently experienced psychosis symptoms or psychiatric hospitalization. If a client does experience these symptoms in any point during online counseling treatment, they will be referred to a higher level of care (inpatient hospital treatment) and a local outpatient counseling agency to follow up with traditional face to face counseling services.
How much can I expect to pay for Counseling services?
The price of counseling services vary depending upon providers. This specific counseling agency does not currently accept health insurance. Private pay rates are dependent upon the type of counseling services that are being provided. Online Counseling services are typically more affordable than face to face sessions. Payment is due prior to the appointment by clicking the "book now" icon next to the service being provided, after you have arranged a scheduled appointment. Please contact Acacia Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details regarding rates and scheduling.
If I am participating in Online Counseling/Technology Assisted Counseling services and have an emergency outside of normal business hours, who do I contact?
Are there certain rules or special arrangements that need to be made for client's receiving Online Counseling/Technology Assisted Counseling Services?
Yes. Special circumstances and policies have to be followed to ensure client confidentiality. These include communication through encrypted technology software. If a client does not have access to the recommended technology or software, there are usually internet access points in a client's area where these can be obtained. The Counselor will assist the client with these recommendations during the initial visit or intake appointment. Prior to this appointment, the client will be given a four digit password provided via their protonmail email account to remember and recite to the counselor at each subsequent technology assisted counseling appointment. The client may also be asked to provide a photo i.d. to ensure their identity. Clients under the age of 18 must have written parental consent to participate in therapy, and the parent/guardian must be present for the initial intake appointment. They will also be required to know and provide the four digit password to the counselor before any service will continue. Payment is required prior to the appointment; therefore it is very important that you have your four digit password and i.d. ready prior to the beginning of the session. All consent forms must also signed/dated, and emailed to email@example.com before the initial or first intake appointment. If needing assistance on how to complete these tasks, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more specific instructions.
Where can I obtain a copy of and download the client's electronic informed consent documents, patient rights and responsibilities, and confidentiality/consent agreement?
Please click on the forms page in the upper left hand corner of this website. Print the forms, sign them, and scan or email to email@example.com
Emails will be responded to within 24-48 hours. Email is confidential, encrypted, and secure.
